Gazi Husrev-bey's Library marks 489 years as BiH's oldest cultural institution

SARAJEVO, January 15 (FENA) – The cultural and scholarly institution Gazi Husrev-bey's Library in Sarajevo marked 489 years of work and existence. It is the oldest publicly accessible library and the oldest cultural institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose holdings include a manuscript collection inscribed in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register.
