Conference assesses BiH's mine clearance progress amid 2027 deadline challenges

SARAJEVO, February 19 (FENA) – More than 60 representatives of state institutions, international organizations, civil society and donor governments gathered in Sarajevo for a two-day conference aimed at supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina in fulfilling its obligations under Article 5 of the Ottawa Convention, which requires the clearance of all anti-personnel mines in mined areas under its jurisdiction or control, as well as assistance to mine victims.
