SARAJEVO, March 22 (FENA) – The International Day of Forests, marked annually on March 21, was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012 to raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests and trees outside forests. Since its first observance in 2013, the day has been marked worldwide under annual themes.
