SARAJEVO, May 19 (FENA) – The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina today discussed the alarming rise in femicide and violence against women in the country, with MPs warning of serious systemic failures, uneven protection for victims, and lenient sentencing policies, while calling for a stronger institutional response at all levels of government.
