SARAJEVO, June 26 (FENA) – Gender-based violence, which in Bosnia and Herzegovina claims an average of one life per month, requires a stronger institutional response and systematic implementation of existing legal solutions. For this reason, €9.5 million has been secured through the joint 'Gender Equality Accelerator' program, launched in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the European Union, the governments of Denmark and Sweden, and United Nations agencies to strengthen protection for women and improve gender equality.
