BiH generates over one million tonnes of municipal waste annually, most still ends up in landfills

SARAJEVO, October 18 (FENA) – Bosnia and Herzegovina generates more than one million tonnes of municipal waste annually, but most of it still ends up in landfills, while insufficiently developed waste separation systems and limited recycling capacity hinder the recovery of materials that could be reused in production.
