SARAJEVO, January 19 (FENA) - Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF), one of the leading investment conferences in South East Europe, will give on April 25 the prestigious "Sarajevo Business Bridge Awards" to companies and individuals who with their work, innovative ideas and employment of young people have contributed to the development of entrepreneurship and investment climate in the region.
Depending on the quality of the applications received, awards will be given in six categories, namely 'New Business/Company of the Year', 'Business/Company of the Year', 'Entrepreneur of the Year', 'Youth Employer Award', 'Social Impact Award' and 'Innovation of the Year'.
The SBF Awards will be presented to the winners at a ceremony in the BiH Parliament during the first day of the 9th Sarajevo Business Forum in the presence of global and regional political and business leaders.
“Sarajevo Business Forum, as the leading economic platform in the region, aims to build a better business environment in the region. Our mission is the development of entrepreneurship, because only by linking and developing the market, by opening new companies and by hiring young people we can produce positive changes in the society” said the director of BBI Bank Amer Bukvić, stressing that the award competition will be open from January 20 for companies and individuals from the region who have shown excellent results in the business and whose work has had a positive impact on the society in which they operate.
In this way, SBF provides support to companies and individuals, especially companies that have launched a new business or employ youth.
Traditionally, for the ninth year, Sarajevo Business Forum is being organized by BBI Bank in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB). The sponsor of the 9th SBF is the BiH Presidency with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Council of Ministers, entity and cantonal governments, the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber and the chambers of commerce of the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska, as well as many companies in BiH.
