Komšić sends letters of condolence to the families of deminers killed in Kupres

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, August 26 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić today sent a letter of condolence to the families and colleagues of deminers who lost their lives while doing their job in Kupres.

“I was deeply struck by the news of the deaths of two deminers, Savo Kalajdžić and Slaviša Pljuco, who lost their lives in the Kupres area while performing their tasks. They were engaged in difficult and dangerous work, making a great contribution to our community and environment. This is a great loss for their families and to all of us,” wrote Komšić.

He extended his deepest sympathies and condolences to the families Kalajdžić and Pljuco, friends, and staff of the association "Pazi, mine!" from Vitez, and wished the injured deminer Radenko Cerovina a successful and speedy recovery, the BiH Presidency said today.
