ALGERIA, October 8 (FENA) – Annual Assembly of the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN) takes place in Algeria from today until October 10, and the main topics of the event are contemporary challenges for news agencies and opportunities for development and growth in the media market.
Possibilities for stronger bilateral cooperation between agencies in the Mediterranean area and the agencies' experience in using social networks and creating multimedia content will be discussed as well. Director General of Algeria Press Service (APS) Fakhreddine Beldi will be elected as the new AMAN President.
AMAN (Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies) was established as an association in 1991 and it gathers leading news agencies from 19 countries from Europe, Asia and Africa.
Federal News Agency - FENA has been a member of AMAN since 2018, as the only representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina. FENA's General Manager Elmir Huremović is attending the 28th Annual Assembly of AMAN.
