SARAJEVO, October 27 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Federation Parliament Mirsad Zaimović announced today that MPs will consider two reform laws in the coming period - the Bill on contributions and the Bill on income tax, prepared by the Government of the Federation of BiH.
"At the moment, the Government is talking to all political parties represented in the House of Representatives to see if there is majority support for such laws. As soon as it is established that the majority exists, the Bills will be sent to the parliamentary procedure," said Zaimović.
The adoption of these two pieces of legislation is expected by both the employers and the economy.
"The first benefit of the mentioned Bills is that the tax burden on the salaries will be reduced. This will create an opportunity for employers to save on salaries. Then we will be able to define the Bill on the minimum wage so that employers do not grab all the benefits of reducing the burden on salaries for themselves," said Zaimović.
