BANJA LUKA, February 1 (FENA) - The National Assembly of the entity of Republika Srpska (RSNA) passed tonight several conclusions proposed by the clubs of SNSD, the Socialist Party, DEMOS, United Srpska and NPS, after the discussion on the political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina at a special session held today in Banja Luka.

One of the adopted conclusions of the RSNA states that the reasons why the National Assembly adopted its conclusions at the 20th special session held on July 30, 2021, have not ceased to exist, and that "the representatives of the RS in the state institutions have behaved and acted in accordance with these conclusions."

The conclusion by which the National Assembly requests that the representatives of the RS elected to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH propose a law banning the misuse of the term genocide was also adopted.

The RS National Assembly has asked the RS government to send a draft law on foreign funding of NGOs in the RS into the parliamentary procedure and has also supported the adoption and entry into force of the law on determining the origin of property and special property tax as soon as possible.

It was also concluded that the RSNA will establish a working body for the fight against corruption and, by its acts, envisage that the working body will be headed by a representative of the opposition.

The RSNA also passed the conclusions asking the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH to submit all materials to the RSNA for consideration before each session of the BiH PS in order to take its stance within an adequate timeframe; from the Council of Ministers of BiH to submit all materials to the Government of the entity of Republika Srpska for consideration before each session in order to take its stance within an adequate timeframe, and from the Presidency of BiH to submit all materials to the President of the RS before each session to take its stance within an adequate timeframe.

The National Assembly of the RS considers, in accordance with the conclusions from the 20th special session, that representatives of that entity in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Presidency of BiH can attend future sessions, but in a way that is in accordance with the positions of the RSNA, the president of the RS and the government of the RS, respectively, it is stated in one of the adopted conclusions.

One of the conclusions of the RSNA proposes to the President of the RS to "send another invitation to the representatives of institutions and other constituent peoples from the FBiH for discussion and dialogue on possible solutions to overcome the current crisis in BiH."

"The National Assembly of the RS maintains that BiH can exist only on the basis of the Constitution of BiH and the agreement between the two entities and the three constituent peoples," it is stated in the last adopted conclusion.
