MOSTAR, January 26 (FENA) - Representatives of the Municipality of Edremit (Republic of Turkey) visited Mostar today to learn about the cooperation between the City of Mostar and the Local Democracy Agency (LDA) Mostar.
The Turkish delegation included the director of human resources and deputy mayor of Edremit, Hilal Tunca, and the representative of the Eurodesk Info Point of the Directorate for Human Resources and Education, Elisa Falcini. Chief advisor of the City of Mostar, Radmila Komadina, and the expert advisor for international relations, Sanela Demirović received the Turkish delegation in City Hall, announced the City of Mostar.
After the Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the umbrella association ALDA, the Municipality of Edremit is in the process of establishing an LDA, and in that process, they were given the opportunity to visit one of the existing LDAs, and it was ALDA that recommended the Mostar branch of that organization to them as the best example of work and cooperation with local self-government.
During the meeting, the guests were informed about the cooperation between the City and the Mostar Local Democracy Agency.
Tunca pointed out that he hopes that LDA Edremit and LDA Mostar will work on joint projects in the future, and he also mentioned the open possibility of cooperation between the Municipality of Edremit and the City of Mostar in areas of mutual interest.
