SARAJEVO, April 25 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met yesterday with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to BiH based in Podgorica, Nabila Al Shamsi, who handed him an invitation from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to participate in the 14th Sir Bani Yas Forum, which will be held from December 8 to 10 in Abu Dhabi.
Ambassador Al Shamsi noted that the Forum, which is held once a year, will bring together foreign ministers, current and former high officials, global business leaders, and academic experts.
She added that the Forum will discuss the most important issues concerning the Middle East region.
Konaković thanked for the invitation and gladly accepted it, said the MInistry.
Ambassador Al Shamsi also informed Minister Konaković that the Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, will visit Sarajevo with a delegation in May and attend the Sarajevo Business Forum.
In this regard, the ambassador reiterated the interest of the United Arab Emirates in signing the mutual Agreement on the Protection and Promotion of Investments and asked that the BiH side does its best to complete the necessary procedures for the signing of this Agreement as soon as possible.
