CoE: Protecting children from sexual abuse requires better evidence, not just criminal records

SARAJEVO, November 18 (FENA) – On the eve of the European Day for the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse, marked on November 18, Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset emphasized the importance of collecting data from various sources, including the education and health sectors, helplines, social services, civil society organizations, as well as from children themselves.
